Slacklining is a fun activity that is suitable for all ages from 6 to 106+. It’s fun, safe and easy to learn the basics. It helps to develop balance & coordination, while at the same time helping to promote good breathing & posture. It’s also a great way to tone the legs, butt and midsection while having lots of fun. The grin factor is huge!
Tricks
Basic tricks include standing on 1 leg, standing on 2 legs, walking forwards, walking backwards, turns, single & double knee drops, and bounce walking. More advanced tricks include the buddah bounce, the plant, front & side surfing, the matrix, thing-on-a-spring, the jump start and many more.
The workshops
Each workshop lasts 90 mins with the option of a 10-20 min break in the middle, and caters for up to 12 people. Larger groups can be accommodated with additional instructor(s). Max group size 12 per instructor.
Requirements
Each line requires 2 anchor points approx 8-10 meters apart, trees are ideal. The height of the line can be adjusted to suit the ability level of each group. A beginner on the line would be mere inches from the ground to ensure maximum safety & fun.
